Where Timeless Stories
Find Sanctuary.
A haven for creative hearts, courageous souls, and stories that dare to speak the truth.
Athenaion Publishing is an independent publishing house devoted to safeguarding stories by creative hearts, courageous souls, and those who dare to speak the truth. We offer two pathways for authors: selective publishing partnerships and professional author services through our Atelier. Guided by thoughtful craftsmanship, we help authors develop, produce, and share their work while honouring the integrity of their creativity.
Our Philosophy
Athenaion Publishing exists to champion authentic storytelling and safeguard stories that deserve to find their place in the world.
We seek stories by creative hearts, courageous souls, and those who dare to speak the truth. Stories that honour emotional truth while inviting readers into richly imagined worlds, untold lives, and unforgettable journeys. Difficult themes may be explored, but always with consequence, care, and purpose — never for shock, nor to glorify cruelty or abuse.
We believe every story carries its own creative vision, and every author deserves to have that vision treated with respect. Through selective publishing partnerships and professional author services offered through our Atelier, we support authors in bringing their work to life while honouring the integrity of their creativity.
Our purpose is to provide thoughtful guidance, professional care, and a place where stories can take shape and make their way into the world — without losing the voice, intention, or courage that made them worth telling.
Our Crests
Every story has its own heart. Some explore the depths of desire and intimacy. Others venture into untamed worlds, confront the unknown, or give voice to truths that deserve to be heard.
Athenaion Publishing's three literary crests represent distinct storytelling traditions, each inspired by the qualities of a Greek goddess. They help us recognise the spirit at the heart of a story and the literary home where it may belong.
Aphrodite Crest
Passion · Intimacy · Desire
For stories that explore the complexities of love, longing, attraction, and human connection. From tender romance to consuming desire, these are stories that embrace emotional vulnerability, the intimacy between people, and the courage it takes to want, love, and be loved.
For stories that dare to feel deeply.
Artemis Crest
Wonder · Courage · Untamed Worlds
For stories that venture beyond the familiar into worlds of myth, magic, adventure, and possibility. These are tales of courage, discovery, transformation, and the wild forces that shape us — stories that invite readers to explore the extraordinary and embrace the untamed.
For stories that dare to venture further.
Athena Crest
Truth · Wisdom · Lived Experience
For stories grounded in the complexities of life, identity, human nature, and the truths we carry. These works may challenge perspectives, explore difficult realities, illuminate overlooked experiences, or offer wisdom earned through living. They invite readers to question, reflect, and see the world — and one another — differently.
For stories that dare to speak the truth.
